Of which use is PIZA for enterprises?

The PIZA project examines inter alia, which methods are suitable to make persons, enterprises and branchs fit for future. We cooperate with enterprises which are interested in questions of emerging developments – especially with small and middle and craft enterprises.

• We give enterprises from different branchs (so far designated: trade fair services, Öffentlicher public transport, orthopaedy technics, nursing, canal and duct services) the oppurtunity for active participation. The participation is absolutely optional, but must be binding.
• For working in participating enterprises we have conversations with management and employees: Where does our shoe pinch? Which concepts of solutions offer work design and health promotion?
• Occupational medic and a skilled employee for security (Sicherheitsfachkraft) will (each end of 2002 and 2004) conduct analyses of charge, to comprehend strenghts and risks in health. The results will be used for suggestions of work design. The further proceeding will be discussed in the enterprise: What contribution can labour research do to make your enterprise fit for future?
• We have no mission by law, assure to be absolutely discrete and leave it to the enterprises, wether they want to work further with us.
• In case of interest we arrange a workshop (about 40 minutes): „Learning from near-accidents“. Near accidents are warning signals and at the same time chances to develop or improve work security and quality of products and service. The active exchange of experiences with the employees results in improvement of security culture and quality standards. We allocate efficient, practically tested instruments to use them in the enterprise.
• For different branchs and topics we arrange „future forums“, for example
  • in crafts with the motto „make enterprises fit for future“
  • to the topic „Relations between humans – nursing of the future“ with the example ambulant nursing
  • to the topic „Informal relations in virtual enterprises“.
