• 1980 - 1994 Scientific coworker of the Gesellschaft für Arbeitsschutz- und Humanisierungsforschung mbH (society for industrial safety and humanization research ltd.), Dortmund, Hamburg (since 1983)
• 1994 - 1995 Freelance work on - among other things - research for the Hamburg chamber of Handicraft (Handwerkskammer Hamburg)
• 1995 - 1998 Hamburg chamber of handicraft, product manager of the work & technology - center as well as metal/electro-technology in the promotion of crafts academy
• 1998 - 2000 Authorized manager in the Hamburger Facility Management AG, member in the executive committee of the "DFM - Deutsche Facility Management" of the handicraft
• 2000 - 2001 Acting partner of faciliCon - Gesellschaft fuer Gebaeudeconsult mbH (society for building consult), Hamburg
• 2002 Freelance work, direction of the project PIZA, project manager at the Handwerkskammer Hamburg, Consultation of enterprises and workers councils
