What is PIZA?Participative, interactive, interdisciplinary and fit for futurePIZA is a project in the programm „fit for future labour research “, which is carried out by Arbeit und Zukunft e.V. ("Society for Labour and Future") in the commission of Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung ("German Ministry for Education and Research").[Please find the announcement of the year 2000 right as a download (word-file).]
PIZA is the abbreviation for „Participation and interactive Interdisciplinarity for fit-for-future labour research“.
The long title shall express, how we imagine a labour research, which is fit for future:
- Participation is way and aim at the same time, because without a direct participation of employees or customers of labour research this research won`t be able to do practical service.
Labour research is therefore open for
- employeesin enterprises,
for example by contributing to improvement of working conditions
- enterprises, their holders and/or the management,
which labour research shall give a practicable support at designing work and making their enterprises fit for future.
- humans, who are professionally interested in designing work, for example scientists(labour researchers), skilles labour for security ("Sicherheitsfachkräfte"), staff associations and worker`s councils, organisations`s physicians, technical surveys of "Berufsgenossenschaften" (public accident insurances), health promotion of health insurances etc.
- Interactive means, that participants of research shall be involved into the process of research. Therefore we will consider all important the persons / organisations concerned. This contains also persons, who doesn`t research, that means
practitioners.
Furthermore it is important to make labour research visible.
Therefore we cooperate with persons who make research comprehensible by video and audio.
- Interdisciplinary means, that labour research lives through exchange with other sciences. Therefore we cooperate with humans from different disciplines of like medical science of labour, labour psychology, labour law, labour sociology, labour science and health promotion.
The PIZA-project is intended to make a contribution to bring labour research with its studies and results closer to enterprises and humans.
